Category Qualifications:
- Bags must be under designer's own label
- Bags must be made in country where portion of the proceeds are given back to that country of manufacturing
- Bags must be made by country that employs local communities to create jobs and work in third world countries or poverty-stricken regions
Category prizes:
Winner of the 2019 Most Socially Responsible Handbag Award will work in partnership with Global Goods Partners and one of the artisan communities with which GGP works to fabricate an exclusive handbag designed by this year's winner. GGP will offer the handbag on GGP's website and promote it extensively through GGP's social media and other outlets.
